Where do you ride most often, and what bike do you ride? Fizik designs every saddle for a specific discipline, tuned to the bike's geometry, riding position, and demands.
STEP 2
Choose your saddle shape
The right saddle shape depends on how you like to sit and move on the bike. Fizik offers four core shapes, each optimized for a different riding style.
V-shape
Pear-shaped design, waved profile, and a sloped rear section. The V-shape provides support and helps rotate your pelvis forward on long rides.
Short-nose
A short nose and clearly defined seating area keep you more stable, reduce unnecessary movement, and distribute your weight more evenly — ideal for road, gravel, and trail riding.
STEP 3
Choose your platform
The platform – saddle shell and rails – plays a major role in determining weight and stiffness. Fizik offers four options, from the lightest and stiffest construction to the most budget-friendly.

R1 / X1
Carbon rails and an adaptive nylon-carbon shell deliver meaningful weight savings and comfort – an accessible way into true race-level performance.
R3 / X3
K:ium hollow rails and a carbon-reinforced nylon shell. Perfect if you want proven reliability and ergonomics in one balanced package.
R5 / X5
S-Alloy rails and a carbon-reinforced nylon shell – a dependable option at an attractive price point.
STEP 4
Match the padding to your needs
Padding is your direct connection to the bike. Fizik uses three different technologies, ranging from ultra-light minimalist padding to advanced 3D-printed Adaptive cushioning. Each is designed to support both you and your riding style.
Adaptive
A 3D-printed lattice structure with zone-specific cushioning that adapts to your body. It flexes where you sit and supports where you need stability. Fizik's most advanced padding technology.
PU foam
Progressive PU foam refined through years of saddle development. Durable, tuned with specific density zones, and built to deliver consistent performance no matter how many miles you ride.
Injected EVA
Injected EVA eliminates the need for a separate cover, creating a flat, responsive, and ultra-light saddle. You get direct feedback from the bike when racing. The premium padding used on all R1 and 00 performance saddles.
