Deze trui is gewijd aan de 27e editie van "L'Eroica Gaiole in Chianti", die in 1997 van start ging in Gaiole in Chianti, een klein dorpje in de provincie Siena. 92 enthousiastelingen namen er het initiatief voor de eerste editie van een magisch fietsevenement, dat elk jaar een unieke combinatie is van uitdagende routes, prachtige landschappen en onvergetelijke versnaperingen. De typische diepbruine kleur van Chianti wijn. We hebben deze kleur voor de trui gekozen om de buitengewone schoonheid van de Chianti-heuvels weer te geven.
De trui is gemaakt van wol, is geborduurd met het originele L'Eroica-logo op zowel de voor- als achterkant en heeft authentieke details zoals parelmoeren knopen op de achterzakken en een metalen ritssluiting aan de voorkant. Het "Eroica Approved" label in de kraag garandeert de authenticiteit van het kledingstuk en autorisatie voor elke race in de Eroica serie.
