Als u zoals Castelli bent, is er een reden waarom u uw windjack in oude stijl niet meer gebruikt. Met waterdichte jassen zoals de Idro die lichter en compacter zijn dan ooit tevoren, vond Castelli het tijd om een klassieker opnieuw uit te vinden. In feite is het Squadra Stretch Jacket heel anders dan je oude jas die je niet beschermde of niet ademde.
Dit jack is een ongelooflijk lichte laag die de wind van de voorkant van je lichaam houdt en tegelijkertijd veel ademend vermogen biedt door de mesh zijpanelen. Maar wat u echt zult waarderen is het gebruik van stretchpanelen aan de zijkanten en achterkant van de mouwen, die ervoor zorgen dat de jas past als een tweede huid: geen wapperende stof, geen koude lucht die in de jas circuleert en geen Armstrong-era-look meer.
Het jack is licht en warm genoeg om de hele rit in milde omstandigheden te dragen, maar als u het uit wilt doen, kunt u het opvouwen in een zijzak en opbergen in uw tas of zitzak om ruimte te besparen.
De Squadra Stretch buitenstof houdt de wind buiten tijdens ritten met koel weer of lange afdalingen, terwijl de stretchpanelen ervoor zorgen dat het jack goed aansluit op het lichaam en de stof niet gaat flapperen.
