Je zou het een convergentieproduct kunnen noemen. Een paar jaar geleden ontwikkelden we de eerste Omloop thermoshort, geïnspireerd door professionele wielrenners die op een zonnige ochtend bij de klassieker 'Omloop Het Nieuwsblad' hun knieringen precies ter hoogte van de kniebocht afknipten.
We gingen aan de slag met het ontwikkelen van een korte broek tot aan de knieholte en realiseerden ons dat we het zonder beenriemen konden stellen - en dat de extra 10 centimeter stof veel warmte genereerde. Deze eerste Omloop shorts werden gemaakt voor koele, droge omstandigheden, zoals de race die de inspiratiebron vormde, met onze Thermoflex stof.
Laten we een sprong in de tijd maken naar het heden: de nieuwe, 3e generatie van onze Nano Flex stof is net zo zacht, rekbaar, ademend en warm als onze Thermoflex stof, dus we kunnen deze short nu ideaal ontwerpen voor koele, droge omstandigheden - maar hij is ook geweldig op natte dagen.
Kenmerken van de Castelli Nano Flex Pro Race koersbroek:
- Nano Flex 3G stof is waterafstotend, rekbaar en warm dankzij de luxueus zachte geborstelde binnenkant
- gereduceerde naden voor comfort en om het binnendringen van water tijdens natte ritten te voorkomen
- knielange snit voor extra warmte waarvoor geen elastisch gripstuk nodig is
- mesh bandjes voegen geen warmte toe aan het bovenlichaam zodat je je kunt kleden naar de omstandigheden
- Progetto X2 Air naadloos zeem voor lange uren in het zadel
