De belangrijkste innovaties in de nieuwe EQUIPE RS shorts zijn een nieuwe stof en een nieuw inzetstuk. De nieuwe stof, Type.911, maakte het mogelijk om de snit volledig te herzien, het aantal naden en plooien te verminderen en tegelijkertijd de pasvorm op de benen en in de taille te optimaliseren.
Het stelde Assos ook in staat om het rollbar bib-ontwerp te elimineren, omdat Type.911 elastischer en compressiever is dan Type.411, dat werd gebruikt in de vorige generatie. De S11 shorts hangen niet langer alleen aan de bib straps, maar omsluiten het lichaam van de rijder met omnidirectionele, body-hugging stabiliteit. Het bovenmateriaal van de nieuwe RS S11 insert is zachter en wasbestendiger en heeft een verbeterde geurcontrole, terwijl het de verkoelende luchtstroom, microschokabsorptie en het lichtgewicht profiel van zijn voorganger behoudt.
De volgende generatie van Assos' WorldTour koersbroek, opnieuw ontworpen met een lager gewicht, meer ademend vermogen en comfortabelere, nauwsluitende compressie vanaf de taille tot aan de opengesneden beenopeningen. Verkrijgbaar in standaard of lange (+3cm) beenlengte.
