Daarom is de nieuwe NS Skin Layer ontworpen om zonder problemen onder huiddichte shirts te worden gedragen, terwijl hij ook een betere vochtregulatie en koeling biedt dan de huid zelf. De push pull mouwen van de Assos wedstrijdtruien zijn op hun best in combinatie met een mouwloze basislaag. Daarom besloot Assos helemaal af te zien van mouwen en creëerde het de lichtste, meest ademende en meest onopvallende huidlaag ooit.
